We tell you what your document needs, then we go and get it
Send scans and we confirm the steps, the cost and the timeline before anything is submitted. Then we handle the notary, the ministries, Wisma Putra and the embassies ourselves.
Malaysia is not a party to the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention. The Hague Conference on Private International Law lists 130 contracting parties as at 30 June 2026, and Malaysia is not among them. Indonesia and Singapore are.
So when a university, employer or authority abroad asks for an apostille, what they need from Malaysia is the full legalisation chain, ending with a stamp from their own mission. That chain is what we run.
There is no apostille to get on a Malaysian document. There is a chain of stamps, and it has to run in order.

03
The legalisation chain, in order
Every stamp depends on the one before it. This is the order a Malaysian document has to follow before another country will accept it.
01
Issuing authority or notary public
The document is verified at source, or certified as a true copy by a notary public.
02
The relevant ministry
Education certificates go through the education authorities. Other documents go through the ministry that governs them.
03
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The consular division at Wisma Putra in Putrajaya legalises the document for use abroad.
04
The destination embassy
The embassy or consulate of the destination country adds the final stamp. Most sit in Kuala Lumpur, a few in Putrajaya.
04
How we run a job
The same five steps every time, whatever the document and wherever it is going.
An initial consultation on what your document and destination require
Receipt of your documents by courier, or by hand at the office
Secure handling of the documents from start to finish
Daily reporting on the progress of the processing
Return of the completed attested or stamped document to you
05
Where we physically submit
The chain is not one counter. It is several, in different buildings, and the travelling between them is the part clients pay us to absorb.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wisma Putra, Putrajaya
Ministry of Education and Ministry of Higher Education
Colleges and universities, for certificate verification
Labour attaches and cultural mission attaches
Government agencies and notaries public
The destination country mission, mostly in Kuala Lumpur
06
Destinations we work on
Visa applications are submitted at these missions. Document legalisation covers far more countries than visa processing does.
Document work in Kuala Lumpur is done in person, at a window, in a queue. This is the team that does it.

Questions
Can I get an apostille on my Malaysian document?
No. Malaysia is not a contracting party to the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention, so no Malaysian authority issues apostilles. Documents going abroad need the full legalisation chain instead.
What do you need from me to start?
Clear scans of the document, and the country it is going to. That is enough for us to tell you which steps apply, what it costs and how long it takes.
Do I have to come to your office?
You can, and you are welcome to. Our office is at Ativo Plaza in Bandar Sri Damansara. Most clients send scans first and courier the originals afterwards.
How long does legalisation take?
It depends on how many of the four steps your document needs and on the mission involved. We give you a timeline for your specific document before we submit.
Can you attest a degree from a foreign university?
Yes. We handle attestation of education certificates issued in Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Taiwan, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan and Indonesia.
Do you handle visas for companies as well as individuals?
Yes. Employers and agencies use us to process visas for their staff and for their own clients, in batches where needed.
